With LotR you get: - A larger card pool (compared to AGOT 2nd edition at least) - Solo play. - The ability to not buy all the cards or not make the strongest decks but still have fun And once more FFG manages to print cards that are clearly meant to be included in your sideboard… oh wait, Thrones does not have a sideboard. This card can be saved against while at the same time your opponent would always get the power from this card making it even more unplayable.

A blanket 1 cost to play anything in house has lots of potential and that potential will always grow. Great mid to late game card when power really starts to matter. Great for the Game of Thrones turn. Great for 2 claim turns, especially military. scantrell24 - 2 out of 5 Not my kind of card. Not only can you build 4 decks right out of the core, but the game is actually better in multiplayer games. in the melee mode, each player selects a role card after they select plots for the round. the role card gives you a special ability, and also tells you who are your rivals, and who you support.
The decks were designed to make a good game against each other and it was pretty fun, and I personally preferred stills from the TV show to the pretty poor art used on the LCG proper. A lot of the cards were functionally identical like Tywin Lannister in the HBO version was functionally the same as Tywin in the LCG version.
